What is Primary Memory?

Memory unit is an essential component for storing the programs and data that is executed by the CPU. The memory unit that directly communicates with the CPU is called the main memory or primary memory. The primary memory also has two parts, namely, RAM (Random Access Memory) and ROM (Read only Memory).

मेमोरी यूनिट सीपीयू द्वारा निष्पादित प्रोग्राम और डेटा को स्टोर करने के लिए एक आवश्यक घटक है। CPU के साथ सीधे संचार करने वाली मेमोरी यूनिट को मुख्य मेमोरी या प्राइमरी मेमोरी कहा जाता है। प्राथमिक मेमोरी के भी दो भाग होते हैं, अर्थात्, RAM (रैंडम एक्सेस मेमोरी) और ROM (रीड ओनली मेमोरी)।
